Fuller style of GV. I miss slightly the acidity.

Chateau Margerots Bordeaux Superieur 2010 AOC

Basic fruity Bordeaux, although it is Superieur classification, it taste like basic Entre Deux Mer.

Refreshing style with higher acidity due to cold 2010 vintage.

Reisten Pinot 2008 pozdní sběr

Scoring and notes are the same as 10 days ago. I had two bottles only and I did not want to cellar it more as it was last time in perfect bottle maturity.

Vinselekt Michlovský Malverina 2005 Organic

Very nice, I really felt like the organic Malverina 10 days ago, This bottle confirmed my high scoring;-)

Herbarium Moravicum Ryzlink Vlašský 2006 pozdní sběr (Mikulov, lot: 310701001)

Opening the wine slightly more than 1 year from our last tasting. It confirmed its qualities. I very much like that. The notes from January 2013 are almost the same. Scoring is 4+8+12+6+7=87.

Fantastic value wine. It is from one of the AUTHENTIST winemaker making the wine in traditional method, without chemicals in nature, without artificial yeasts, without filtration, without purification with minimal use of sulfur. It is definitely not Pinot nor Zweigelt in the taste, but I very much like it:-)

NIce fruity pinot, it still feels young though and will improve over 3-5 years. Maybe it will develop as 2008 vintage tasted in December 2011 from the same vineyard.

Nice Pinot Gris, slightly off dry and still quite young, needs time to age.

This wine shows how 2010, however difficult vintage it could have been, was perfect vintage for whites, which keep very nice and fresh. This Sauvignon has this nice grassy element that I really like. For previous tastings please refer here.

Habánské sklepy Rulandské šedé 2005 pozdní sběr

Variety: Pinot Gris
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Wine appellation: Moravia, Velkopavlovická region sub-appelation, Čejkovice village, Helezný díl vinyard
Vintage: 2005
Alcohol content: 12.0%
Color: golden yellow
Bouquet: concentrated, honey, dry orange crust
Taste: medium body, similar to nose, orange, dry fruits, light and already rounded acidity is nicely balanced by slight honey type of flavor, which is perfectly integrated due to good bottle maturity and does not feel sweet at all, medium to longer finish
Recommended food pairing: on its own, or matured hard cheese

Nové Vinařství Cuvée 2 Larus 2006

TAsting notes and scoring is the same as in in December 2013. What is very nice is the mineral character of the wine despite being slightly aromatic, it also feels very zesty.

I really love this wine, although it is not very representative taste of Gruner Veltliner I do not really care, the most important is that the wine taste to you and not to the others:-) For tasting notes in detail please refer to my October 2013 notes.

Bremerton Verdelho 2007

Same as in January 2014 and November 2013 I would also refer you to my notes from September 2013.  It is amazing how the wine kept fresh despite 2007 vintage.

Fantastic bottle maturity, excellent citrus combined with mineral and herby character. One of the discovered wine in the cellar:-)

I very much like this blend, it is rounder than pure Pinot Gris from Reisten tasted recently here, but similarly it has very high minerality and nice bread tones.

Good example of New world Cabernet. Slightly higher alcohol needs a bit more chilling, but otherwise it is at very good bottle maturity.

Very good bottle aged Syrah from Argentina. Lokking back at my tasting notes of the same wine, but 2002 vintage almost exactly one year ago in January 2013 this vintage does not have the flatter part in the mid profile.
